Bare Leatherworks was started in 1994 with the idea that quality S/M gear should be affordable. The founders of the company have been active in the Leather and S/M community for over 20 yrs, and have used their wealth of experience in designing and building the Bare Leatherworks product line. We also thoroughly test our products, both in house and in the local leather S/M community. Our products are all handcrafted in our rustic shop located in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains near Seattle.
Our product line has grown quickly since 1994. In addition to selling directly on the internet and at local vendor fairs, our products are also sold at many of the finest S/M Leather retailers across the nation, including Toys in Babeland, Mr S-Fetters, LeatherWerks, Purple Passion-DV 8 , Good Vibrations, and others. Our products are different from other S/M gear in two distinct ways. First, BARE floggers do not have the woven leather handle/turks head knot handle wrap. Instead we tightly spirally wrap our handles with industrial rubber which will last a lifetime. This provides a very secure grip even if your hand are wet or sweatty. They are also very easy to clean and will always look great.
Second, BARE restraints are not lined or sewn, but instead we use strong heavy duty latigo leather, and lots of double headed rivets. We bevel and burnish the edges and we polish the sides of the latigio to ensure a smooth comfortable fit. All our restraints can also be locked on with small or medium size padlocks.

Our Floggers, Cuffs, Collars and Slappers are available in a variety of colors. To request a specific color combination, please use the ’comments section’ of the "Check Out" form which is part of the shopping basket purchase procedure. Our most popular color options are shown below. We also make custom floggers and matching floggers for balanced two handed flogging. (In most cases no extra charge for custom work).
