Hi Rick,
Just wanted to say that I am REALLY happy with the floggers.  The full-sized flogger is weighted exactly right - balanced, with a mean heft. It goes exactly where you aim it.  The heavier fall was just what I was hoping it would be, a nice, solid strike, even with just 30 tails. Outstanding construction and craftsmanship.  It looks drop-dead gorgeous - and the rubber handle is just downright sinister!  Awesome work!
     The deerskin mini is lovely and the falls are feather-soft.  In retrospect, I wish the lashes had another 4 inches - it’s not quite powerful enough to be an effective tit whip.  But it’s great for close-in fun & cool-down.  I’ll probably do a custom order sometime to see about another.

Recommendation for Bare Leatherworks

So, on Fetlife (a Web 2.0 BDSM community--friend me there!), someone recommended Bare Leatherworks for their inexpensive floggers. They are inexpensive not because they’re cheap, but because they don’t spend all that time and effort braiding the handle of the floggers.

I ordered a full-sized, cowhide, 30" flogger with 40 falls, received it today, and OMG, it’s beautiful. What would be at least $150 elsewhere is $80 at BLW, and it’s stunning. I even like the "industrial" aesthetic it’s got going on with the rivets and screws. It’s heavy but not too heavy, the leather is gorgeous
So, go there and buy lots. So worth it.

Just wanted to take a minute to say thanks for your suggestions for the rotator flogger (going with the ‘buffalo’ tails). I gave it to my husband to try out the other night (on ‘me’), and I ‘LOVE’ it!! (Also told him I would ‘thank’ you!) He was ecstatic that I had got if for him, and let me just say we were both quite impressed with the workmanship, not to mention how well it can be manipulated to ’precisely’ target a specific area with such rapid and repeated strikes (OMG!!!).

Before giving it to him I first did as you suggested and used it some to get rid of some of the ‘shedding’ which I was glad I did. After a few minutes of getting accustomed to it he was using it quite proficiently, and especially in that most ‘sensitive’ of areas!! If there’s one word I can use to describe the sensations, its ‘DE-LIC-IOUS’!! Girls you definitely need to experience this, I get turned on just thinking about it! It is now my absolute favorite for that part of my anatomy (‘between my legs’), with the ‘thud-stinger’ being my favorite for other body parts. We now have four of your floggers and they have definitely added to our fun!

I wanted to share my fantastic experience to date of Bare Leatherworks in the US.

I first came across them, unwittingly, via another retail website in the US, from whom I bought a particular item as a gift. It impressed me, and it seems to have gone down well with its ’handler’ too!

I’ve been, ahem, building my own collection of bits and pieces, and decided to try to find out who had actually manufactured said implement (without asking the retailer, because that’d be too easy, and they probably wouldn’t tell me, because I’d obviously be getting it more cheaply by going to source). This is a favourite activity of mine - trying to find out if I can pay less for kinky gear!

Anyway, after a not too strenuous web search, I came across the guys at Bare Leatherworks, and bingo! Their online ordering system only caters for US-based orders, but if you email Rick at the address given, he gets back to you very quickly and is wonderfully friendly. In fact, the first email I sent, from a Yahoo account, didn’t get a response - it may well have ended up in the trash folder which I know sometimes happens, or I might have mistakenly sent it to a disused address.

I used my regular ISP-provided email address, and got a response within hours. From there it was plain sailing. I got a USPS tracking number, and seeing that it had cleared UK customs on Thursday, I awaited delivery yesterday, and lo and behold, it arrived.

The kit is great. It would have cost me twice or three times as much to get kit of a similar quality in this country and, having been on the end of one of their implements in the past, I knew what I was buying.

N.B.: I didn’t get touched for import duty, even though the true value was clearly displayed on the package. There’s no guarantee that others will be so lucky, though in past experience of ordering from Australia and the US, I’ve only been done once. Another thing to bear in mind is that the contents of the package were *very* accurately described on the outer label, so if your circumstances are sensitive, or you are, it might be worth bearing that in mind. I don’t know whether Rick might be willing to be slightly more vague on that score - possibly worth asking. For me it isn’t an issue. Particularly if the postie happens to be female.


The other week I also took delivery of an item from the US: again, no duty, but the description was euphemistic to say the least, and the value was stated at $15 dollars. Practice differs.

To cut a long story short, lovely people, great product, excellent service, thoroughly recommended and... while the exchange rate is what it is, I can’t resist!

The Latino Flogger you made arrived today.  It’s exactly what I wanted.  I can’t wait to use it!

I hope to break it in at a campout coming up in July.  I’ll put pictures up on my worldleathermen.com profile under VAFLOGGING if you want to see it in use.  A yankee is coming down from up north and I’m going to make him whistle "DIXIE" with this flogger. Paybacks are hell. LOL

    My wife and I recently purchased two of your floggers thru your online website (a midsize thud-stinger and a midsize extra tails cowhide flogger, plus one of your ’books’ on sensual flogging). I spoke to you on the phone on a friday afternoon, ordered the items a few minutes later online and found them on my doorstep on Monday just two days later. We researched several sites selling floggers before settling on yours. We liked how it offers plenty of information on each item and your list of postive testimonials was a big ’plus’ (you can feel free to add us also). Upon receiving them, we found them to be extremely well made, as well as quite visually appealing with careful attention to detail and obviously designed for many years of use. We were also impressed with the careful packaging. My wife for one was pretty impressed, and after seeing and handling them she could hardly wait to get naked and restrained just to have me try them out on her!     You have a very satisfied customer on your hands. You have no idea how tough it was to search the internet for months trying to find a bondage equipment vendor who seemed to not only have high quality products, but also not seem like a sketchy fly by night operation. I can’t express how pleased I am with both the product and the service I received.
     Back in December I ordered a midsize cowhide flogger as a gift for my girlfriend (and myself to be honest). The flogger was a surprise for her (she didn’t know I had ordered it) and she was actually hoping for some locking wrist cuffs instead. Regardless, she accepted the gift and approached its use with  limited enthusiasm.
                         Then we used it. ;)

     Your flogger has become one of our favorite toys in our "bag of tricks." Not only is it an absolute blast to use, but the quality and craftsmanship is absolutely phenomenal. Never once have I ever worried that it was going to come apart, rip or wear down from over use. It is incredibly well balanced and the midsize length seemed like is was custom cut and measured just for us. Plus my girlfriend is a big fan of the inner purple tails. We both absolutely love it.

    Your service was equally as excellent. Prompt email responses and personally signed invoices go a long way to establishing good customer rapport and allow me to say that yours isn’t good, it’s great!

     So while she is still bugging me about a pair of locking cuffs, it is safe to say that the flogger has well exceeded either of our expectations. Thank you so much for creating such a fine product that we will get many many years of use out of.
